Our editorial approach

The source is
part of the story.

A useful city journal shows where its details come from — and what it has not checked.

Original posts, with dates.

Every journal feature links to Beyond Bangalore’s original Instagram posts and shows their publication dates. The imagery is taken from the published posts; publication does not establish photograph ownership or first-hand reporting. Related posts are consolidated where they describe the same topic or place.

An archive is a starting point.

This edition is a source journal. Reformatting a caption does not make it a newly reported guide. Historical descriptions, dates, prices and offers stay in the context of the original post. Current timings, entry fees, availability, access and travel details need a fresh official check before visiting.

Keep uncertainty visible.

Unclear locations, partial captions, mismatched photographs and unsupported claims are held or flagged during review. We do not fill missing details with guessed addresses, ratings, fees or opening hours. Generic promotional wording does not establish firsthand observation.

Commercial context stays separate.

A brand mention does not establish payment or endorsement. Proposed collaboration formats are starting points for a conversation, not claims that each format has been delivered. Future paid placements need an explicit disclosure and a clear distinction from editorial observations.

Corrections start with the source.

Use the original post and its date as a reference when reporting a correction. Contact us about a source detail . We will review the evidence rather than silently presenting an archived fact as current.
